Whilst studying my double degree between 2014-2018, I was working part time at a cafe.

What I love about my job is to be a bridge to communicate technical to non-technical. Translating and educating is the key and that is what I love to do.

A better working world is one in which all communities have the opportunities and resources to succeed and thrive. I contribute to building a better working world by working to accelerate Māori success.

The people are incredible. From day one, I have felt like people here have my best interests at heart and want to see me excel in my career.

By getting my degree I was able to enter the workforce on $50k +.

I am working with Inland Revenue (Te Tari Taake), the public service department of New Zealand to advise the government on tax policy, collect and disburse payments for social support programmes, and collect taxes.
