The Programme was filled to the brim with courses, events and other opportunities for learning. Knowing that I had backing and help from my supervisors and team members meant that I felt more confident to push myself and try new tasks.
My favourite thing about being an account manager is that I get to work with an array of different people and functions across New Zealand and Australia!
I believe DevelopHer programme definitely helps you build robust technical skills but at the same time would also work on building your interpersonal skills.
My favourite thing about the job is the responsibility you get given. Even when you have only been there for a week, you are joining meetings and are considered a critical part of the team.
Having great management, organizational, and communicative skills is helpful for this role but the main thing someone would need when wanting to work in this role is the willingness to learn.
