VUW Women in Tech Profiles

I have been working in the Geotech team for the past two years and have just recently switched into the water team, my input is required into old projects, so I spend some time helping with that.

Our team huddles together to discuss the model and the results. We then put together an action plan to change the design and submit it for analysis.

I catch up with my team for a whiteboarding session for a project workshop – it’s a fun way to brainstorm.

Since the new feature I implemented was in the latest build results, I will need to do a quick integration test to ensure there are no negative impacts to existing functionality. I will be deploying a Virtual Machine with our product pre-installed.

Design work is the real reason I got into engineering and each project always brings about new challenges and learning opportunities.
