Working Hours at Nova Systems

8.4
8.4 rating for Working Hours, based on 32 reviews
How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
Very flexible. Flexible start/finish times and hours per day, as long as you get your work done for the week. Hours are generally dependent on client expectations (if dealing with a client).

Nova Systems has implemented a flexible working arrangement to ensure people can build and maintain a work/life balance. While the client's needs still need to be adhered to, Nova will support wherever possible a mix up WFH and in o_ce/on site time. I personally work for a VIC/CBR client while based in QLD, so it's up to me to decide when I want to go to the QLD o_ce versus WFH.

I usually work 2-3 days in the office, with the remainder at home. My weeks are usually 40 hours, sometimes more if I have a busy week with my project and also have to do Nova work as well.

My company is flexible with my hours and how I work. However I would prefer 37.5 hours of work rather than the 40 hours for the same pay. I think there is a big return for doing the national average hours.

Work 40 hours a week. That's 40 working hours, not 40 hours logged in. So additional hours required when you exclude breaks etc. The company is flexible with hours in that if you have something come up, it is more than acceptable to make up the hours another day or time. and they are quite flexible in letting you work from home. They request that you spend at least 3 days a week in the o_ce.

One thing that this company does best is how flexible work hours are. Managers are understanding and always remember that everyone has a life outside of work. Flexibility is one of the strongest points and hence why I love working here.

Standard office hours requirement, but offered with fantastic flexibility with regards to location and specific timeframes. E.g. can start earlier if you need time in the afternoon, can work later to make a morning appointment.

Feels quite flexible.

The company is especially flexible, however being client-based it is restrictive due to the client itself. The work I do does not allow me to work from the Nova office due to security reasons, so I wish I could be in the Nova office more often.

9am-5pm for Nova Systems. 8am-4pm for client work. Nova Systems as a company is very flexible, however, it is extremely dependent on the client you are working for. Some clients are MUCH less flexible than others.

8 hours, as long as I meet 40 hours a week there is no issues.

Nova is very flexible with regards to working from home. I work 2 days client site and one day in the Nova office and this balance is great for me.

40hrs is the company policy. Typically 9-5 or 8-4 depending on the arrange in place with line managers. But there is flexibility if you need time off or to finish earlier to make up time on other days as long as it doesn't affect the client.

We have 40 hours work week. The work hour is very flexible as long as we communicate with the line manager.

I'm a mix. I would like to be motivated to be in the office more often, but I find with a lack of work at times, it's better just to work from home. Not just my opinion but the phrase "there's almost no point" gets tossed around. Keep my WFH days down to about 2 and will work from the office the rest. I do like the flexibility with WFH but I don't want to make a habit of it.
