Here at Fulton Hogan, we're passionate about developing our future engineers and offering them opportunities to learn and grow.

We offer scholarships to Civil Engineering students at tertiary institutes across Aotearoa. This year, we have multiple scholarships to offer to Professional Civil Engineering students nationwide. This is a special opportunity that will take you places you never expected as you define your career path surrounded by experienced professionals.

At Fulton Hogan we believe in opportunity, having a crack, being accountable and making it happen! Our scholarship students spend their summer breaks working in different operational groups across Fulton Hogan. You will be working with and learning alongside the best in the business, gaining valuable skills and experiences to help kick-start your engineering career.

On completion of your engineering qualification, you will start a career with Fulton Hogan within our 2-year Graduate Development Programme. This is a professional programme designed to give you the opportunity, skills, knowledge and support required to continue to progress your career with us.

This scholarship is currently open to NZ residents and provides students with a financial contribution towards their studies of:

  • 1st year pro - 50% of fees
  • 2nd Year Pro - 75% of fees
  • 3rd Year Pro - 100% of fees

We are different from the other companies you may have seen, we are humble by nature and have strong family values; family to us means our people, our clients, our partners and our communities. We care about and enjoy what we do, we encourage each other to grow and be the best we can be. We never lose sight of the most important things – that we are here to make a real difference to the people and communities that we live and work alongside.

If we sound like somewhere where you would excel, we would love to hear more about you!

Graduate Success Stories

It is also cool how in a few years I still get the ability to be able to look back at the work I was part of and see how this helps the community. Moments like this give me a sense of reward and that all the hard work was worth it.

Work moves so quickly on-site and it’s amazing to see the planning which happens behind the scenes to make this happen.  I am also surrounded by a wealth of knowledge and everyone is always willing to take the time to explain why things are done a certain way.
