In theory the firm is flexible and to their credit it is accepted and encouraged to prioritise health and go to appointments during work hours. However the reality is that as a junior if I'm not in the office I don't get work. Additionally the seniors in my team have a preference for being in the office so there is a certain level of pressure to be in the office.
