Armstrong's are the official retailer of sixteen international automotive brands with 13 dealerships nationwide. We are currently looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our national team. This is an entry-level position so would be perfect for someone who has recently graduated.

You will support all Health and Safety processes and initiatives across the group working with our awesome team of Health and Safety Reps and becoming part of the People and Safety team, a small group of extremely passionate people who thrive on making Armstrong's an awesome and safe place to work.

Some of the responsibilities attached to this role are:

  • Undertaking regular internal and field audits, as well as champion external audits.
  • Coach, guide, and mentor our people on safe Health & Safety practices
  • Develop, review, and maintain safety documents, policies, and registers
  • Manage sub-contractor documentation and compliance across the group
  • Investigate and report on incidents where necessary
  • Help us kick off our sustainability journey
  • Support the wider HR team with some HR Administration (No experience required)

To be successful in this role, youโ€™ll have held a similar role and ideally have the following experience:

  • Relevant qualifications in H&S (Not essential)
  • Familiarity with Legislation
  • Able to connect with people from different backgrounds in a professional and ethical manner
  • Ability to create, implement and improve SOPโ€™s, policies, and procedures
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Full clean NZ license
  • National travel is required for this role from time to time (And restrictions allowing)
