A bit about us 

At Apprento we’re all about switching on potential.  We believe sales is the greatest profession there is and we’re on a mission to tell the world!  We match those with little or no experience to some of NZ’s most exciting, high growth and ‘good bugger’ companies.  And once we’ve placed people…we then train, mentor and coach them through our ‘Rev-Up Sales Acceleration Program’.
  
We’ve had some great success in the last year, big goals for the years ahead and now is the time to bring on another member of the team. 

What you'll be doing

This role is vital in owning our candidate process…right from finding and informing through to assessing and placing.  You’ll educate candidates as to what we do, who we do it with and why sales could be a great career move.

You’ll enjoy interacting with people at all levels, using your energy, openness and influence to excite those you talk to.  In the beginning, you’ll mostly be talking to those at the earlier stages of their career, helping them to navigate the next step in their career.  You’ll enjoy networking and getting referrals from ‘people who know people’ – ensuring that our clients have a great stream of talent they can consider for their businesses.

You’ll take part in our information and assessment sessions, using our process and your judgement to see who stands out!  As well as your great energy, you’ll also be well organised, staying on top of our CRM and ATS (look them up) and ensuring the right messages get to the right people at the right time.  We’ll pay a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission for meeting agreed on targets.

Once you’ve nailed this part, we’ll introduce you to our customers and then you might find some of your own!  This is where your career will really take off!
You’ll be working closely with two experienced, thoughtful and highly knowledgeable sales and business dudes who have learnt a lot made some mistakes and have big visions for Apprento.  Jump on board at this stage and you’ll learn heaps while setting yourself up for a great career!
We’re flexible in our work arrangement, have a global ‘shed quarters’ and make use of virtual working wherever possible.

We’re not looking for experience…you might have some, but more importantly, you’ve got a burning desire to kick off your career in a customer-facing role!  

You'll have the energy to burn and will love interacting with career starters and our clients.  You'll be organised and will have an eye for improving our systems. You'll love chasing opportunities and taking responsibility for completing tasks and mini-projects. 

Some knowledge of social media would be helpful but not essential.
