Things move fast at ANZ as we’re doing the important work that only New Zealand’s largest bank with a global network can tackle. But don’t worry, we’re a nice bunch of people so you won’t be expected to have all the answers up front.

Instead, six monthly rotations will open your eyes to what’s possible at ANZ and what’s the best path for you to take. And the 18 months you spend on the program will be jam packed with learning and networking opportunities to set you up with the contacts, confidence, and expertise to turbo charge your career.

About the ANZ Funds Management Graduate Programme / Ngā taipitopito kōrero

ANZ’s Funds Management business is a market leader across New Zealand. We manage more than $30 billion in investments for more than 650,000 investors throughout New Zealand. We’re New Zealand’s largest KiwiSaver scheme provider and we’ve been helping New Zealanders achieve their financial goals since 1989. 

As part of the Funds management team you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in a broad range of complex and dynamic matters, including:

• Supporting distribution leads with executing channel partnership strategy across relevant business units and teams;
• Using data and insights to understand our product lifecycle, customer behaviour and highlight ways to improve customer outcomes;
• Building an awareness of the key risks affecting funds management and understand how ANZ’s risk framework and policies enable the team to manage risk well;
• Supporting desk heads, managers and analysts with research, screening and/or other investment analyses that support the delivery of strong risk-adjusted investment returns;
• Driving operational excellence by supporting the delivery of initiatives to enhance our processes and/or customer experience.

As a Funds Management Graduate, you’re in for a phenomenal 18-month programme! The programme is designed to provide you with valuable experience across different areas of Funds Management. This programme will give you a solid foundation to kick start your career in a growing industry. More specifically:

• Six-monthly rotations across different areas of our Funds Management division, including Product, Distribution, Strategy & Execution, Investment Operations and Investment Management.
